Hang tight--
10 Comments So Far!
Dear Bryce and Tammy,
You are in all our prayers and the prayers of the members in 22 temple districts. (Most temples are closed Monday, but I'll add 3 more tomorrow.) There's a verse in "Zions Stands with Hills Surrounded" that gave me great comfort in a difficult time; I hope it helps you, too:
In the furnace God may prove thee, thence to bring thee forth more bright, but can never cease to love thee. Thou art precious in His sight. God is with thee. God is with thee. Thou shalt triumph in his might.
Your family IS precious, and God does love you. We pray for your comfort and that God's healing hand will rest upon you.
All our love,
Marian and Sally
Hi Tammy and Bryce,
Tammy you hang in there too girlfriend I have to share this message with you. I get this daily e-mail message everyday and last night when I was praying I asked the Lord if he was listening to my prayers or not??? That so many of us had been praying for a miracle and I asked him what he was waiting for?? I know that I am doing everything the Lord asks of me, I pray, I go to church, I GIVE to my church, I help others, I volunteer when and where I can, I know that many MANY others that read this blog and pray along with me every single day do the same thing with their lives and are praying for the same exact miracle I have been praying for for both you and Bryce and yet we are all still waiting and watching the both of you continue to fight this disease with everything you both have. And then just 5 minutes ago I opened up my e-mails for the very first time today and read my daily message and it was like a brick being thrown in my face..... POW....BAM....so now I have to share this message with you and everyone else here so that we all know that HE does he ALL of OUR PRAYERS FOR YOU AND BRYCE... HE IS LISTENING TO ALL OF US.
“For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with God), and His ears are attentive to their prayer…” (I Peter 3:12 AMP).
Do you ever wonder if the Lord hears your prayers? There is Good News today—this verse promises that He is attentive to the prayers of the righteous! If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and have asked Him to cleanse you of your past sins, then you are righteous by the blood of Jesus. God longs to show Himself strong on your behalf. Your prayers open the door for Him to move in your life. You can be sure that He is attentive and listening for your prayers. Keep standing, keep believing, and keep praying knowing that God is on your side. He hears you. He’s working behind the scenes and orchestrating things in your favor. Thank Him today for listening. Thank Him for making you righteous. As you stand in faith, you will see God move in your life. Don’t shrink back—move forward in confidence knowing that the eyes of the Lord are upon you, and He is attentive to your prayers!
A Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father, thank You for making me righteous. Thank You for making me clean and new. Thank You for hearing my prayers today. I cast my cares and burdens on You knowing that You are working in my life today. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Sometimes it takes seeing something like this for me to realize that he is listening. Tammy please know that I am here for you. I am having trouble sleeping at night so if you need to talk I am up.
Love,
Christine Uporsky

Thank you for taking the time to share your journey with all of us. What you’re going through would be difficult for even the strongest person. But the grace, courage and strength you have shown all of us is remarkable. Thank you for opening up the windows to your world and let us all see what real courage is. It is impressive to me the amount of time and energy you put into keeping us all updated when you have so much going on in your lives. But I thank you for sharing because every one of your posts leaves me inspired to be a better person. I think about all three of you MANY times a day and worry, hope, cry, pray, and smile, for each of you. I have learned from your stories to not take life for granted, hug those I love one more time today, say I’m sorry a little more often and appreciate the very simple things in life (like watching cartoons in bed with your family). You two have given me a gift for which I will be forever grateful. You have made me open my eyes to the world around me and see things I have never seen before. Thank you for helping me to appreciate and enjoy life now more than ever. From the bottom of my heart I am sorry for all that you are going through and I pray over and over for you every day (I think that Lord may be getting tired of me). I believe in miracles and I have seen them happen. I believe in both of you and know that you will withstand all that the Lord puts before you. When reading some of the posts I am impressed with the locations of all of your fans throughout the country and want you to know that you also have a fan club in Midvale, UT. Take good care of yourselves (especially you Tammy) and know that you are loved.
Best Wishes,
Jaclyn England
P.S. I lectured my cousin for 10 min yesterday on the dangers of tanning beds. Hopefully she too will benefit from some of your experiences.
Bryce and Tammy:
I just got done reading Christine's message. Know that we keep praying and keep believing God for a miracle. I know He hears our prayers.
I believe with all my heart that YOU have been the answer to someone else's prayers. You inspire us with your great love for each other, your will to fight and never give up. You give others HOPE and move us all to be better and give more. Thank YOU for that gift.
Love in Christ,
Kelli

Bryce and Tammy,
I don't know why it has taken me so long to post since I pull up this site every night to see if there is a new posting. Jason's sister Alicia told us a while back about the staus Bryce's health along with this website and we could not believe that this is the same funny, larger than life guy that I knew in college. I know if anyone can fight this thing, it is you!
Jason has known you for years but I only have a few specific memories that I can't get out of my mind. Remember the river raft trip that you came on with our student ward? That was the best time ever! I remember your shoes and you kept telling everyone that a friend gave them to you. Do you remember that??!! Back then, I was the activities chairman and now, that is our calling in the ward - Jason is the chairman, I am the co-chair - but I do all the work. Go figure that is how it works!!! I have to give Jason a break since he is running our company that has 25 employees and he works from sun up to sun down. He is a good man and was lucky to have grown up with you guys.
We have wanted to come visit but haven't wanted to be a burden. At this point, we don't care....we figure everyone else has had enough time with you, we want ours too!!!
We love you Bryce. Every time I think of you it not only brings a smile to my face but I almost laugh out loud because you are the greatest!
With much love,
Gwen (Wendy) Peterson - Pete's wife

Dear Tammy: Our hearts are broken. We love you and Bryce. The two of you are heroes. Dani will always know that Bryce is her daddy. My mom lost her dad during the 1918 flu epidemic when she was six months old. She is 89 years old now and keeps a photo of her mom and dad on her dresser. She loves her dad and knows that she will be with him again. Lynne and I have been thinking about how Bryce's life has been blessed during these past seven years. He was able to meet you and take you to the temple and to begin his family. Bryce passed through trials that I can't comprehend and won. My grandfather McConkie shortly before he died called his family together and said "when I go to the other side, I'm not going to stop loving you and I'm not going to stop praying for you."
I hope you and Dani can take comfort in knowing that Bryce will continue to love you and pray for you. All our love, Paul and Lynne

Bryce and Tammy, I'm so sorry that MRI's and things keep getting worse, but I still believe and at some point things can change. Bryce you keep fighting and each day brings new HOPE, thats the only way to look at it. In the mean time what a gift , a legacy you are giving your wife and daughter. Tammy, there aren't many who could or would have the will to put up such a valiant fight, I think that should carry you and your little Dani on forever to just how much love Bryce has for his family. I've always known Bryce had a lot of something special in him, he has great parents and family. But he is capable of just being who he is and being OK with that, he's never been afraid to show himself and to be proud of who he is. I've always admired that in you Bryce and now you can be proud of how your handeling this trial in your life and know that you do have the will to beat and conquer anything. We love you, we (our children included) pray for you every night. And the famous words of Jimmy V, cancer can take a lot of things but it can't take your heart, it can't take your soul. Bryce I would have to say your holding true to his words, keep on fighting. We hope to get up that way soon and see you guys, Love Rex and Laurie
